Industry Initiatives
Through dedicated resources, expertise and networking in a variety of arenas, the WIA provides opportunities for innovation, business development and building valuable connections throughout the wireless ecosystem. The WIA works in concert with several industry affiliates to promote wireless broadband deployment.  Our affiliate organizations include:


The HetNet Forum (formerly The DAS Forum) is a membership section of the WIA, dedicated to the advancement of the heterogeneous network. HetNets utilize a variety of technologies to link to the macrocellular network enabling seamless voice and data communications. Learn more.


The State Wireless Association Program (SWAP) consists of 29 associations in 40 states, created under the SWAP umbrella to develop a presence for the wireless industry at the local and state levels. Learn more.
